Celestial Waves

Limited run of artistic drawer fronts that can be installed as IKEA MALM 15 3/4" drawer front replacements.

    We are pleased to present a limited run of Manuela F's "Celestial Waves" series in gold and purple. These art pieces feature washes of colored mica powders mixed with epoxy resin atop a wooden canvas. Several layers are built up over many days through both tool manipulation and hand painting to create a depth that can only be appreciated upon close inspection. Streams of floating purple pigments appear to rise and fall in rivers. Fine clouds of shimmering flakes sparkle in the darkness. Gold bands ripple across, concentrating light in the center.

    Manuela's inspiration stems from the idea that all things and all beings are born from energy and recreated with the same energy. We share a universal connection: from the smallest parts of our world to the vast reaches of space, in a natural cycle of life. This combination of purple and gold represents the excited state, where warm tones evoke growth and activity.

    Each one is unique due to its handmade process. When you acquire more than one you can achieve the effect of the gold wave passing horizontally.

    Complete drawer front replacement, not a veneer. Comes with an ownership certificate signed by the artist and care instructions. Some assembly required.
