MODxMOD Furnishings was born from the concept that contemporary living involves continuous change. The movement between homes, our changing personal needs, and the desire to keep one’s environment fresh and interesting. And up until now the thinking has been one must discard items that are no longer useful. But what if we challenged that idea?
What if a furniture can transform its purpose? What if it is convenient to move by one person? What if it were made of durable materials, but its style could be updated with minimal waste?
Each piece of MODxMOD Furnishings is meant to function by itself or in concert with other pieces to fit your unique space. We work with artists and visionaries to add flexible functionality that is both beautiful and sturdy for daily wear. And possibly the first of its kind: it is an open system that invites you to also extend its purpose. We are transparent about our materials and designs. About the Founder
Amy Lee has worked her career bringing engineers and designers together with the shared goal of making engaging experiences. She is leveraging her high tech career to tackle the spaces we live in. She believes that an organized system of parts and devices come together to form something much more.
